$5 Mojitos All Day at Cuba Libre in Old City for National Mojito Day on Monday, July 11

$5 Mojitos on Mojito Day at Cuba Libre Philadelphia

FACT: Philadelphia’s Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar sells 15,000 mojitos each year… and nearly 100,000 mojitos are sold yearly across its four locations on the East Coast!

National Mojito Day is this Monday, July 11, and Cuba Libre (located at 2nd & Market Sts. in Old City), Philadelphia’s expert on all things rum, is celebrating its signature rum drink with $5 Classic Mojitos at the bar ALL DAY!

Cuba Libre Mojito Day 2016

The cocktail, made popular by Ernest Hemingway in Cuba decades ago, is made with hand-pressed sugar cane (called guarapo), fresh lime juice, mint, Cuba Libre White Rum and a splash of soda. The special is available for one day only in celebration of one of Cuba Libre’s favorite holidays, and the $5 classic mojitos will be available starting at 11:30 a.m.

Boozy lunch to kick off the week, anyone? (God, I wish!)

The $5 classic mojitos will continue throughout the day, so guests can post up at the bar starting at lunch, or pair the special with one of Cuba Libre’s new dinner items – the full menu is available at the bar all day.
