Glenn Gross of Fat Jack’s BBQ Named New Co-Host of Small Bites Radio

Philadelphia’s own BBQ Pitmaster/CEO of Fat Jack’s BBQ, joins “Small Bites” on Wildfire Radio as new co-host with Derek Timm of Bluejeanfood.com beginning this Sunday, July 10th at 6:35.

Small Bites is a radio show dedicated to food, beverage, travel, nightlife and all topics related to the hospitality industry. Glenn will be not only be bringing his vast knowledge to the show but will be peppering the show with humor as only Glenn does.

“He’s not all BBQ,” original host Derek Timm commented. Glenn has a vast knowledge of the industry. Glenn Gross founded Fat Jack’s BBQ in 1993. His exceptional knowledge of BBQ, the BBQ industry, smoking foods, cooking, along with restaurant/franchising business gives a new perspective on the show.

Prior to starting Fat Jack’s BBQ, Glenn was COO/President of The Great American Hospitality Group, and prior was Vice President of Operations for Liberty Foods Systems, a Philadelphia based Quick Serve/Fast Food restaurant chain.

Glenn has held positions at single and multi-unit operations for several local and national restaurant chains. His extensive food service background also includes management positions with well known Full Service and Fast Food chains.

Along with Glenn and Derek, “Small Bites” brings weekly segments from contributor Chef Barbie Marshall who was just named by Cooking Light choice as Pennsylvania’s Most Influential Chef, Courier-Post nightlife correspondent and New York Times recognized blogger John Howard-Fusco, Philabundance Supervising Chef Hugo Campos, reports from Food Bank of South Jersey, and rounding out the entourage is a weekly joke from Jackie “The Joke Man” Martling.
