Smashburger, the nation’s fastest growing “better burger” restaurant, brings its fresh approach to burgers to Malvern when it opens a new restaurant on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 10:00am. The Malvern Smashburger is located in the Court at Malvern on Route 29 near the Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) intersection.
“At Smashburger, the secret is in the smash,” commented Tom Ryan, Co-Founder & Chief Concept Officer of Smashburger. “We start with 100-percent fresh, never frozen, Certified Angus Beef® that is smashed on a 400-degree flat grill to sear in the juicy flavor. The smash is our difference-maker and offers a better burger than the competition.”
To further the “better burger” experience, Smashburgers are served on a toasted artisan bun and topped with a selection of the freshest produce, real cheeses, and highest-quality condiments.
“This is an ideal location for Smashburger,” said Kevin Murphy, co-owner of the Malvern Smashburger and a Newtown Square resident. “Whether you live or work in the area, we invite you to stop by to try one of our legendary burgers, our chicken sandwiches, or fresh tossed signature salads. Or treat yourself to a Häagen-Dazs® shake or Stewart’s® root-beer float!”
Customers at the new Malvern location can also enjoy a selection of tender marinated grilled or crispy chicken sandwiches, and fresh tossed signature salads, along with a variety of irresistible sides including rosemary and garlic–seasoned Smashfries, fried pickles, Haystack Onions, and Veggie Frites (flash-fried and seasoned carrot sticks and green beans).
Murphy added that the Malvern restaurant will feature the “Philly Smashburger” topped with grilled onions, Cheez Whiz and Gulden’s Mustard, served on a pretzel bun.
This is the 6th Smashburger owned by Murphy and co-owners Dan O’Shaughnessy, Dan Hill and Gene Giordano. They also own Smashburger locations in New Jersey (Delran, Glassboro, Maple Shade and Marlton) as well as in Radnor, PA.
