Last Wednesday evening, we were invited to a media event at Crabby’s Cafe & Sports Bar at The Piazza in the Northern Liberties. The event was a lot of fun and ridiculously delicious. We met a lot of great people, too; fellow local food bloggers and food enthusiasts. We all couldn’t get over how much food we had! Check out some of the highlights of the event in the slideshow below:

Drink Tip: try the “Happy Crab” cocktail – it’s basically alcoholic jungle juice! That might sound gross but trust — it was awesome!

Check out these upcoming summer events:

Crabby’s Luau Party will be accompanied by leis, fruity cocktails, and of course, a pig roast. Starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday July 19th, show up at the Piazza set for a festive summer celebration. Guests can enjoy unlimited food and drinks for the first two hours, then dance the night away indoors or outdoors.

The Crawfish Boil will be held on Saturday, August 9th starting from 4 p.m. Inspired by the traditional Louisiana events, Crabby’s is one of the only places in Philadelphia to host an authentic crawfish boil, complete with a live jazz band. Get ready to suck the head and pinch the tail!

Lastly, Crabby’s Clam Bake is September’s special event. On Saturday, September 13th, guests can choose from three reservation times: of 1-3 p.m., 4-6 p.m., and 7-9 p.m. for their classic New England-style meal. In tradition with true clam bakes, Crabby’s will consist of clams, crab legs, and vegetables served by the bucket.

All of Crabby’s summer specials are $40 with a $25 non-alcoholic ticket available. Each one will provide delicious seafood, Corona Light and Yeungling beers on special, great entertainment, and a guaranteed fun time. Event dates are rain or shine.

Seriously, if you’re looking to feast on seafood in Philly, we recommend checking out Crabby’s. You won’t be disappointed.
