Yas Chicken Brings Korean Halal Chicken Sandwiches to Northeast Philadelphia

Northeast Philadelphia has a new destination for fried chicken lovers with the opening of Yas Chicken at 9898 E. Roosevelt Blvd., Suite 106.

The fast-casual restaurant specializes in Korean halal chicken sandwiches, offering a unique twist on the ever-popular chicken sandwich trend. Yas Chicken has built its reputation on its signature soy-garlic sauce, crispy fried chicken, and a menu that blends Korean-inspired flavors with classic comfort food. The brand proudly describes itself as “Philly’s home of Korean Halal Chicken Sandwiches.”

In addition to its signature sandwiches, guests can also enjoy chicken tenders, wings, fries, waffles, and a variety of house-made sauces. One of the restaurant’s standout offerings is its chicken and waffles, pairing crispy halal fried chicken with fluffy waffles for a sweet-and-savory combination that has become a customer favorite. All of the restaurant’s sauces are made in-house, adding another layer of flavor to every meal.

The Philadelphia location joins several existing Yas Chicken restaurants throughout the Northeast, expanding the brand’s footprint while introducing its halal-friendly menu to a wider audience.

Located along the bustling Roosevelt Boulevard corridor, Yas Chicken enters a competitive dining scene but offers something distinctive: Korean-inspired flavors and a commitment to serving halal chicken. Whether you’re craving a crispy chicken sandwich drenched in soy-garlic sauce or looking to try its popular chicken and waffles, the restaurant aims to become a go-to spot for chicken enthusiasts across Northeast Philadelphia.

Yas Chicken is now soft opened at 9898 E. Roosevelt Blvd., Suite 106, Philadelphia, PA 19115. Customers can dine in, order takeout, or place orders online through the restaurant’s website.

Grand opening is on Saturday, July 25th.
