Cleavers Opening Second Location in Delco
After a decade of grinding it out in Philadelphia’s competitive cheesesteak scene and becoming the best cheesesteak shop near Rittenhouse Square, Cleavers Philadelphia has decided to expand to Delaware County.

Sibling owners, Dimitri and Electra Poulimenos, consider Newtown Square home, which is why it was a no-brainer to choose Cleavers second location at 103 Squire Drive in Ellis Preserve, Newtown Square, for their second location.

Rooted in a 40-year family legacy in the steak industry, the Poulimenos family has built a reputation for quality and craftsmanship. That foundation has helped Cleavers build a brand and establish themselves as a local gem in the city of cheesesteaks. Our proprietary cut of 100% Domestic Ribeye steak, high-quality ingredients, and fresh-seeded rolls have helped them to stand out in a crowded cheesesteak scene.

Since its opening, Cleavers has become known not only for its elevated comfort food but also for its connection to the community it serves. The Newtown Square opening reflects that same commitment, with a focus on creating a welcoming, high-energy space where guests can gather, unwind, and enjoy consistently delicious food.

“We wanted to bring more than just a cheesesteak spot to our hometown. Bringing Cleavers to Newtown Square means we get to serve our very own community with the same passion, quality, and energy that we do day in and day out in Center City Philadelphia,” said Electra Poulimenos.

The new location will feature Cleavers full menu, including its celebrated cheesesteaks, chicken sandwiches, homemade cheesesteak eggrolls, wraps, vegetarian options, and handmade milkshakes. All served in the brand’s laid-back, come-as-you-are atmosphere.

Cleavers Newtown Square, located at 103 Squire Drive, will be open 11 am to 9 pm Sunday through Wednesday and 11 am to 10 pm Thursday through Saturday. Customers can enjoy dine-in, takeout, and catering. Order by phone at 610-353-2233 or online at https://www.cleaversphilly.com/.
