Gouldsburger’s New Location near Ardmore’s Suburban Square Opens

UPDATE FEBRUARY 2026: Gouldsburger’s Ardmore opens Thursday, February 26th!

UPDATE DECEMBER 2025: As with any new restaurant, “best laid plans” often go out the window when there are out-of-their-control delays, and this was the case with a longer-than-anticipated opening of Gouldburger’s in Ardmore. So, sit tight a little longer, Main Line Philly. It’s coming, and it will be worth it!

Foodies of the Main Line, get ready! Gouldsburger’s, the fast-casual burger sensation known for its high-quality comfort food and next-level ingredients, is bringing its bold flavors to Ardmore, PA.

Known for delivering crave-worthy classics with a gourmet twist, Gouldsburger’s has built a loyal following thanks to its dedication to premium ingredients, scratch-made sauces, and inventive takes on American staples. And now, Ardmore locals will get a taste of the magic.

This new location will be a franchise operated by South Jersey locals Mike O’Leary, a detective with the Gloucester County Police Department, and his wife, Samantha Sandoz, a real estate professional.

What to Expect at Gouldsburger’s Ardmore

The upcoming location will offer all the signature favorites that have made Gouldsburgers a must-visit:

🍔 Juicy burgers made with USDA Prime beef

🥖 Cheesesteaks loaded with flavor

🌭 Uncured, grass-fed beef hot dogs

🍗 Crispy chicken sandwiches made from scratch

🍟 Fries cooked in 100% olive oil

Every item is carefully crafted and cooked to order. Whether you’re avoiding gluten, seed oils, or just love clean-tasting, well-sourced food, Gouldsburger’s aims to deliver “good food, done right.”

One of the standout features of Gouldsburger’s is its commitment to quality, not just in ingredients, but also in how the food is prepared. Their use of olive oil in gluten-free fryers ensures that everything from fries to hand-breaded chicken tastes fresher and cleaner than typical fast-food fare.

This focus on transparency and flavor-forward food has helped Gouldsburger’s stand out in a crowded burger market—and their expansion into Suburban Square reflects growing demand across the region.

Gouldsburger’s co-owners and chefs, David Murray and Walter Gouldsbury, opened their first concept, Crumb Sandwich Joint, in Haddonfield, NJ, in 2021, followed by two additional locations in Bordentown, NJ, and Medford, NJ, the following year.

In 2023, Murray and Gouldsbury decided to get into the burger and cheesesteak game and opened their flagship location of Gouldsburger’s in Haddonfield. The pair also opened additional South Jersey Gouldsburger’s locations in Medford and Bordentown, and is preparing to open in Sicklerville very soon.

They further expanded in Philadelphia with the opening of Gouldsburger’s Express at Two Logan Square (18th & Arch Street) and Franklin’s Table Food Hall (University City) in Philadelphia in 2024, both franchised locations.

The Ardmore Gouldsburger’s will be the seventh location, the first on the Main Line, with additional franchises planned for the future in both PA and NJ.
