The Philly hot chicken trend ceases to slow down! Yes, more hot chicken in Philadelphia is on the way from someone we’ve written about before.
OK Hot Chicken, currently based in South Philly, will open its second location in the Olney section (North Philly) at 5533 North 5th Street.
They anticipate opening by the end of January with their brand of Indonesian-style halal chicken sliders, tenders, wings, fries, smoothies, and milkshakes. We wish them luck as they continue their hot chicken expansion in the city.

P.S. You’ll notice I don’t really call it “Nashville hot chicken” because I feel it’s awkward to call it that since we’re not Nashville. Nashville-inspired hot chicken or Nashville-style hot chicken, maybe. 🙂
