Moustaki Gyro is opening its 2nd Center City location at 120 S. 15th Street. The original spot is just a few blocks away at 161 N. 21st Street.
Moustaki Gyro specializes in authentic Greek gyros in Philadelphia and other Greek dishes, including cold and hot appetizers, sandwiches, salads, bowls, entrees, pizza, and desserts.
Moustaki Gyro is a fast, healthy, casual dining experience for the whole family. Traditional meats are hand carved, cooked, sliced, and grilled in-house to perfection, served with homemade Tzatziki, Fiery Feta, or Moustaki Mustard sauce.
Peter Kada and his wife, Trish Hunt-Kada, opened the Moustaki Gyro in 2017, bringing a wealth of experience with their familial background of restaurateurs. In 1980, Kada’s grandfather, Pete Ampatzi, opened Pete’s Famous Pizza in the Logan Square district.
Kada expressed, “We take pride in the authentic Greek way we prepare our Gyros, Souvlaki, Dips, and sides,” showcasing the importance they place on maintaining the authentic flavors of Greece.
If you’re looking for Greek food in Philadelphia, check out Moustaki Gyro and stay tuned for the opening date of the next location.
