Steak 48, the premier upscale steakhouse located on the Avenue of the Arts in the heart of Center City Philadelphia, has been a mainstay since it’s opening in 2020, and is proud to announce the appointment of Chef Ron Reid as Executive Chef.
A Philly man through and through and a Philadelphia culinary veteran, Reid was an integral part of Neil Stein’s culinary team at Philadelphia’s famous Striped Bass. Reid then went on to become the Executive Chef of The Palm, the iconic Steakhouse concept, for nearly 30 years where he helped to grow the company’s brand across the US and London.
Reid is thrilled to be back in Center City, and to execute on Steak 48’s menu featuring the highest quality prime steaks, fresh seafood, creative sides and decadent desserts.
