Main Squeeze offers smoothies, juices, acai bowls & more in South Philly and Fishtown

Main Squeeze Philly opened in 2021, first in South Philly at 2501 South Broad Street, and now its second location in Fishtown at 1600 Frankford Avenue, which opened last month.

Owner Frankie Accardo, 28, was born and raised on Passyunk Ave. Always very active in sports growing up, he realized that there were limited healthier options in the city, and he wanted to change that.

Main Squeeze specializes in superfood bowls (acai, pitaya, kale, etc.), smoothies, and cold press juices/wellness shots. Toppings like granola and date caramel are all made in-house. They also serve hot and cold coffee drinks using Philly-based Bean2Bean Coffee.

“We wanted to open up a space where people want to enter, hang out, and feel welcome while enjoying good-for-you food,” Accardo said, who runs both locations.
