Bar Poulet in Rittenhouse Square is now closed

Bar Poulet, the fried chicken and champagne spot in Rittenhouse Square, announced its closure today on Instagram.

It opened last May in the former Tria Taproom location at 2005 Walnut Street.

Something else will take over in the Fall, but details are mum.

Au revoir.

I never got to try it. Fried chicken + champagne sounded like a winner!
