The bubble tea trend has swept into Chester County. OneZo Bubble Tea brought the “Art of Boba” to downtown West Chester at 555 East Gay Street (#28) when it opened on July 31st.
The boba tea shop offers a variety of milk teas, fruit teas, brown sugar boba tea, cheese foam drinks, yogurt drinks, smoothies, slushies, hot coffee, and latte drinks.
OneZo makes their tapioca pearls (boba) on-site by hand daily, resulting in fresh, chewy boba free of preservatives and additives, setting them apart from other boba tea places. They also feature at least eight different flavors of boba including honey, brown sugar, strawberry, black sesame, mango, and more.
The West Chester location is the first OneZo in Pennsylvania. There are over 50 locations in the United States, including New York, Florida, Massachusetts, Illinois, California, Texas, and Georgia. Local expansion plans include more shops in PA and NJ.
“Our goals are to serve the freshest boba drinks to the world and to promote the OneZo spirit of excellence,” Eddie Tong, Director of Procurement, told Philly Grub. “We are excited to open our 1st store in PA with more to come!”
Operating hours are 11 am to 8 pm Sunday through Thursday and 11 am to 9 pm Friday and Saturday.
