Chick-A-Boom already has three locations plus a food truck. They are expanding with a fourth physical location at 3677 Frankford Avenue in the Juniata section. It will open on Good Friday, April 15th.
The fast-casual fried chicken concept is famous for its fried chicken sandwiches, signature ‘boom sauce,’ and specialty chicken and waffles. Owner Brittany Tolliferreo said they will be adding new menu items for breakfast, such as donuts to start, and possibly more over time. Chicken & donuts? Sounds familiar. 😉
The new location will be open daily for pick-up and delivery from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. It will be a walk-up location only with no indoor seating. Customers can order from the website.
They are also launching a canned juice line called “Boom Juice” and a new line of frozen soft-serve non-dairy treats called “Crave.” The juices will come in Boom Punch (fruit punch), Peach Tea, and Strawberry Lemonade flavors. The frozen treats will be offered in mango and strawberry lemonade flavors, with more to come, starting at the 4626 Lancaster Avenue location first, and rolling out to all of the locations in the summer.
The other Chick-A-Boom locations are in Folcroft, West Philadelphia, and at Lincoln Financial Field during Eagles home games.
Nice to see a business booming in these continued tough times!
