Moku-Bowls in Peddler’s Village (Bucks County) is adding new housemade dumpling options to the menu in addition to the already popular poke bowls, acai bowls, granola bowls, and more.

“As with most restaurants, COVID had a significant negative impact on our business,” owner Deidre Cibelli explained. “We have a very loyal local customer base that helped support us through the pandemic. However, we have not been able to get back to our pre-COVID foot traffic.”
Cibelli initially opened Moku-Bowls at New Hope Ferry Market in 2017 with her sister-in-law Cori Forfa. Then, they moved to Peddler’s Village in 2018, where they upgraded from a small counter to a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating (in warm weather). The inside has an upscale beachy vibe, where there is a large communal table, counter seating in the main dining area, and a cozy lounge area with a couch and small tables.

The new dumplings are made fresh in-house and served in bowls with other ingredients such as fresh vegetables, herbs, and a special dumpling sauce. They offer chicken dumplings and vegan dumplings.
“These new dumplings complement our existing menu nicely,” Cibelli noted. “We are hoping these new menu items will attract new customers that may not have tried Moku yet.”
Moku-Bowls is located in the back corner of the village, just behind Free Will Brewing Company. There is plenty of free parking, and it’s lovely to walk around, do some shopping, and enjoy the outdoor setting.
