Feast Your Eyes Catering is a popular catering company based in Fishtown. They are one of many catering companies in Philadephia that have had to pivot during the coronavirus pandemic.
They’ve always done take out foods in addition to weddings and events. They were always geared towards parties with larger portions in trays and platters. For the past 6 months, they adapted to meals for 1 and 2 through a new program they started called Feast Well Foods.
This Christmas, they have designed holiday meals with the same portioning in mind with boxes for 2 to 3 guests.
In addition to a traditional holiday dinner box for two, they’re also offering The Feast of the Seven Fishes for two with generous portions. This is an Italian-American celebration of Christmas Eve with dishes of fish and other seafood.

The Feast of the Seven Fishes is a special meal for proprietor Lynn Buono and her family.
“Christmas Eve, in particular, has always been my family’s most important holiday and meal. Each year, I would cook and prep for days and deliver my client’s meals and run home to do our extended family feast,” Buono told Philly Grub. “It is a tradition my father carried on from his Sicilian family and now I carry it on.”
In 1996 the Courier-Post featured an article on how Lynn’s dad, Tom Buono, made the traditional Italian Seven Fishes dinner every Christmas Eve.
