The Twisted Tail, Headhouse Square’s Southern-inspired restaurant, bar, and live music venue, and Coopers’ Craft Bourbon, Brown-Forman’s newest bourbon in 20 years, are providing much-needed meals for up to 200 out-of-work bar and restaurant employees.
The Staff Meals will be offered Monday, April 13 through Wednesday, April 15, and will culminate with a virtual “social hour”, featuring live music from Mikey Junior and a cocktail and mocktail demonstration from Fitz Bailey, Coopers’ Craft Brand Ambassador.
Industry workers will be able to choose from a Staff Meal menu boasting signature menu items such as:
🍖 Entire Rack of Smoked Ribs with Coopers’ Craft Bourbon BBQ Sauce served with Mac ‘n’ Cheese and Coleslaw
🍗 Southern Fried Chicken served with Mac ‘n’ Cheese and Coleslaw
🍝 Ricotta Gnocchi – wild roasted mushrooms, basil pesto, and garlic bread.
Each Staff Meal serves 2-4 people and can be reserved along with a preferred pick-up time by calling The Twisted Tail (215-558-2471) between 11a and 7p. Each Staff Meal will be accompanied by a Coopers’ Craft Mocktail Kit featuring Baba’s Brew Kombucha, Pickett’s Ginger Beer, lemons, limes, maple syrup, a Coopers’ Craft Mug, and a recipe card.
Mikey Junior, along with his harmonica and a fellow guitar player, will perform classic and lively blues tunes aimed at lifting spirits Wednesday, April 15, 5-6 on The Twisted Tail’s Instagram Live (@TwistedTailPHL).
Coopers’ Craft Brand Ambassador, Fitz Bailey will kick off the virtual Social Hour by providing a cocktail and mocktail demonstration featuring Baba’s Brew Kombucha and Pickett’s Ginger Beer.
