Philly <3 Pizza

Philly

ApartmentGuide.com recently published The Best Cities for Pizza Lovers in the country. This list denotes cities with the most pizza spots compared to the total number of dining establishments.

Philadelphia came in at number 26 on that list, however, it does have the most pizza businesses compared to other cities, including Manhattan, but not all of New York City’s boroughs combined (of course!)

Philly Loves Pizza (ApartmentGuide.com)

What does this mean? Basically, Philly is a pizza-loving town, but we already knew that. I like to think that we have most types of pizza covered: Neopolitan pizza, Sicilian pizza, Grandma pizza, Chicago deep-dish pizza, Detroit pizza, etc.

The only pizza that isn’t represented in Philly that I know of is Old Forge-style pizza or “tray pizza” as is popular in Northeastern PA where I grew up. Although my favorite pizza up there is from Centiole’s in Girardville. But I digress.

Sound off in the comments about your fave Philly pizza joints. 🙂

Tough one. Definitely great pizza here but some great pizza in some of those other places too. All about finding the good spots.
