Product Corner: Wild Kombucha

I’m a fan of kombucha so when Wild Kombucha reached out to ask me if I would like to try a few samples, I was game.

As far as kombuchas go, these are very good. It’s got that slightly sweet & sour fizziness. Out of the three flavors I sampled, I enjoyed the elderberry the best. It’s a really nice floral flavor, but not overpowering. I also really liked the mango-peach. The ginger grapefruit was good, too, but I’m not the biggest fan of grapefruit flavor.

They have other flavors such as tart cherry ginger, apple spice, watermelon hops, and more. On October 1st, their newest flavor, Blood Orange CBD, will be made available in hundreds of stores in Maryland, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. CBD, a non-psychoactive compound found in hemp, has been shown to aide in relaxation and ease anxiety and stress.

Baltimore-based charmingly handcrafted Wild Kombucha will be available in 60 Whole Foods and 160 Giant stores in the Mid-Atlantic region by October 1st. You can find them right now in Whole Foods in Center City and Cherry Hill, NJ. Prior to this, Wild Kombucha was already in 70 locations in the Philadelphia area.

In just four years, this homegrown company has gone from being a part-time effort to operating out of a 13,000-square-foot brewery with 19 employees and selling its kombucha in more than 1,000 locations.

If you’re a fan of kombucha, head to your nearest Whole Foods or Giant supermarket to try some Wild Kombucha and let me know what you think!

Thank you Wild Kombucha for sending samples!
