The Happy Hour Guide on the Dining on a Dime Podcast – November 4th

  • Spice Finch located at the Warwick Hotel at 220 S 17th St in Rittenhouse Square is the hot new Mediterranean restaurant opened by Top Chef alum Jennifer Carroll and her co-chef/fiance Billy Riddle. Just this week they launched a happy hour menu available between 4 and 6 p.m. Drink prices range from $4 for the draft of the moment up to $10 for a special cocktail created by Beverage Director Michael Haggerty. Nibbles include a variety of savory sauces served with choice of flatbread or crudité for $4, spiced nuts or “Shabazi” fries for $5 and a chicken kebab for $9.

  • Attico Rooftop & Lounge which opened 16 stories high atop the new Cambria Hotel at 219 S. Broad Street about a month ago also just launched Happy Hour between 5 and 7 p.m. Specials include $5 beers $6 wines & $7 sparkling cocktails.

  • Porta Pizza located at 1216 Chestnut St in Center City offers a 3-hour happy hour between 4 and 7 p.m. that includes $4 select drafts, $5 glasses of wine, and $6 specialty cocktails. A meatball slider and the “Many Thanks” slider which contains roasted red peppers and a generous piece of mozzarella cheese are $3 a pop along with fried polenta and fried mozzarella for $5.

  • In the burbs, check out Redstone American Grill with locations in Plymouth Meeting and Marlton, NJ where they’re offering up great food and drink specials during 3 and 6:30 p.m. Bites include Parmesan Truffle Fries for $4, Chicken Bites for $6, Mini Burger Sliders for $6, and Salmon Croquettes for $8. Featured drink specials are the Redstone Doli (a pineapple vodka infused martini) for $7, select draft beers for $5, and select wines by the glass for $6.

  • In Jersey, check out Red, Hot, and Blue – the BBQ restaurant inside of the Holiday Inn on Route 70 in Cherry Hill. Daily happy hour specials include $3 Domestic Drafts, $4 Mixed Drinks, $5 Wine, and ½ priced appetizers like wings, bbq sliders, “Red Hot” nachos, bite-sized burnt ends, and cheese fries between 4 and 7 p.m.
