Thanksgiving without butter?! Blasphemy!

This is a non-sponsored guest post by Kellers Creamery.

Historically, turkey has been the star of the Thanksgiving show — this year Keller’s Creamery is here to set the record straight.

In fact, according to a recent survey* conducted by Philly’s own butter brand, Keller’s Creamery, Philadelphians cited that they would rather do the following than have a Thanksgiving with no butter:

  • Almost half would rather miss out on a season of Philadelphia Eagles football (not this year, though. 😉 )

  • About 26 percent would rather go without wine and beer at their remaining 2017 holiday parties

  • About 22 percent would rather give up Philly cheesesteak for a year

Not to mention, last Thanksgiving season, Philadelphians bought more than 2.5 million pounds of butter — that’s more than 10 million sticks!**

  • That’s enough sticks to run the length of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge 292 times.

  • That’s enough sticks to run the Rocky Steps 28,693 times.

  • That’s 514 times the amount of yards rushed by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2016 (1,813 yards)!
