A whole year has gone by since &pizza made its mark on Philadelphia. Last week, they threw a fun one-year anniversary party at the 1430 Walnut Street location.
If you haven’t checked it out yet, &pizza is a cool and modern spin on the average pizza shop. The contemporary interior design really matches the innovative menu well. You can choose from pre-made pies “the hits”, or craft-your-own.
The chef can make pies for people sensitive to allergies and there are also gluten-free options.
Some crowd favorites:
-
Salad pizza
-
Dirty Bird
-
American Honey
-
Maverick
-
The OG
-
Pineapple Jack
My favorites were:
Maverick: classic tomato, mozzarella, salami, pepperoni, Italian sausage, pesto, parmesan. The pesto brings all the flavors together!
American Honey: spicy tomato, mozzarella, pepperoni, arugula, red pepper flakes, goat cheese, hot honey. Perfect balance of sweet and spicy!
Deliciously paired with unique sodas. I loved the Pear & Fig Elixir. They also offer housemade iced teas.
Congrats on 1 year in Rittenhouse Square, &pizza! Here’s to many more!
