Monsoon Fine Indian Cuisine Grand Opening in Cherry Hill

I recently attended Monsoon Fine Indian Cuisine’s grand opening at their new location in Cherry Hill and it was a fine affair. As I wrote about a few weeks ago, there seems to be an influx of Indian restaurants opening in South Jersey.

In addition to the ribbon cutting with local dignitaries and press, authentic Bollywood dancers from The Bhangra Dance Troup performed to the delight of all in attendance.

The food was delicious! I loved everything I had especially the chicken tikka masala, lamb roganjosh and goat curry dishes. So much flavor, impeccable spice-level, and perfectly cooked meat. It rekindled my love affair with Indian food. I’m now quite eager to try many of their other dishes. I’m planning another visit soon, so stay tuned for a full review!

I met the owner, Ray, for a brief moment as there were many people wanting his attention at this Grand Opening event, but he was very warm and friendly. I can tell he was quite proud of his new restaurant — which is the second in the area. The other location is in Mount Laurel.

If they continue making the high quality Indian food I tried during the grand opening, they will be very successful. I’m excited for them!

If you’re looking for fine Indian cuisine in South Jersey, check out the new Monsoon at the Barclay Farms Shopping Center on Route 70 in Cherry Hill. Tell them Philly Grub sent ya!

Shout out to my fellow food bloggers Homemade Delish, Fun Philly Foodie, and Spice Culture who were also in attendance. So great seeing you ladies!
