Independence Ice Cream Social at the Museum of the American Revolution

Franklin Fountain Cooler at Cross Keys Cafe

Celebrate life, liberty and the pursuit of happy hour by kicking off your Fourth of July weekend festivities with an Independence Ice Cream Social hosted by the Museum of the American Revolution on Saturday, July 1 from 5 – 7 p.m.

The Museum’s Cross Keys Café has partnered with Philadelphia’s own ice cream and sweets shop The Franklin Fountain and Quaker City Mercantile’s QC Malt beverages to create adult ice cream floats and other treats. Try a boozy float with QC Malt’s Old Dutch and The Franklin Fountain’s Vanilla Bean Ice Cream or QC Malt’s Lemon Shrub with fresh raspberry syrup. The whole family can enjoy The Franklin Fountain’s Hot Fudge Sundaes and non-alcoholic ice cream floats.

While Museum admission is not required to attend the happy hour, visitors are welcome to purchase tickets here to explore the Museum’s exhibits until 7 p.m., as the Museum kicks off extended summer hours for the month of July.
