Loews Hotels’ exclusive new traveling “pop-up” experience, The Traveller Bar, is now officially open at Bank & Bourbon (corner of Market & 12th) at Loews Philadelphia Hotel until the fourth of July.
Constructed from an old elevator car, The Traveller Bar features eight classic cocktails traditionally handcrafted by expert mixologists, such the Gin Fix, Whiskey Cocktail and a Picador, as well as an impressive library of nearly 50 rare and vintage cocktail books, including a first-edition of the oldest cocktail recipe book ever written, the Bar-Tender’s Guide by Jeremiah (Jerry) P. Thomas.
The Traveller Bar is open in Bank & Bourbon from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays.
In addition, on Friday, June 23, 2017, Allagash Brewing Company will be at The Traveller Bar serving the limited release Blackberry Ale, “Uncommon Crow.”
