Our friends at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits Shoppe sent us some Irish Whiskey cocktail recipes and facts just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.
They also dropped this (Irish car) bomb on me — Irish whiskey sales have grown 12% in Pennsylvania this past year! That’s a lot of Irish whiskey drinkers out there in PA and good on ya!
2 oz Jameson Black Barrel Irish Whiskey
½ oz St Germain Elderflower Liqueur
¾ oz fresh lemon juice
¾ oz sugar syrup
2 cucumber chunks
Muddle cucumber chunks in the bottom of a shaker. Add ice and remaining ingredients; shake vigorously. Fine-strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a cucumber slice.
2 oz Tullamore D.E.W. Irish Whiskey
1 oz peach schnapps
2 orange slices
5 oz ginger ale
½ orange wheel or twist
Muddle orange slices in the bottom of a tall glass. Add ice and remaining ingredients; stir gently. Garnish with half an orange wheel or twist.
1 oz Dream Catcher Irish Liqueur
3 oz ginger ale
Combine ingredients in a rocks glass filled with ice; stir gently.
