Dining Out For Life Presented by ActionAIDS Returns This Year on Thursday, April 14^th

Dining Out For Life is an annual dining fundraising event raising money for AIDS service organizations.

Dine at one of 200 participating restaurants in the greater Philadelphia area and that restaurant will donate 33% of their day’s food sales to directly fund ActionAIDS to provide education, prevention and comprehensive support services to people living with HIV and AIDS throughout the Delaware Valley region including Philadelphia, Southeastern PA, Southern New Jersey and Delaware.

New participating restaurants in Philadelphia this year include:

• Restaurant Neuf
• Double Knot
• Martha
• Buena Onda
• Palladino’s
• Brigantessa
• Stargazy
• COOK
• Serpico
• Tria Fitler Square

Among the restaurants that are also donating beverage sales are:

• Talula’s Garden
• Parc
• Loco Pez
• Amada
• Fork
• Han Dynasty
• The Industry Bar
• Taproom on 19th

Returning to Dining Out For Life (with a new name twist) is the Food Truck Pop-Up, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM on April 14th on the 1300 Block of Locust Street. This great food truck event will feature Philly’s hottest food trucks serving up their sweet and savory dishes, along with special prizes and other surprises.

To commemorate Dining Out For Life, Yard’s Brewing Company will create special ale during the month of April in honor of Dining Out For Life. Both the event and brewery share the common bond of Philadelphia as their birthplace and are nationally recognized. Dining Out For Life, which was started by an ActionAIDS volunteer in 1991, is now held in cities throughout North America.
