Remember way back in the summer when I said Belgian Liege-Style Waffles were having their moment in Philadelphia? Well, waffle-mania STILL hasn’t let up and they’re making news again.
The gals behind Waffles & Wedges (1511 Pine Street) have announced they will be rolling out a Waffles food truck this Spring.
The truck, the 2nd in their fleet (including Pbon’s Fresh Phood), will only feature their scratch-made Liege waffles, no wedges. It’ll have Gluten-Free options and include both sweet and savory toppings.
The truck will mostly be found on Philly streets, but they plan on hitting up the suburbs and South Jersey, and be available for catering events as well.
