Good Food Flats Coming To Drexel University

Good Food Flats

Exciting news for students of Drexel University’s Hospitality and Sports Management program and food lovers alike.

Cross Properties is excited to announce its newest cutting edge and innovative student housing building, Good Food Flats, which is set to open for the Fall 2016 semester on Drexel University’s campus. This is the first modular building of its kind in Philadelphia and will be particularly attractive for participants in Drexel University’s Hospitality and Sports Management program and others who really appreciate integrating food, health and well-being into their living environment.

In September 2015, Cross Properties began construction on a 44 unit, 175 bed, fully-furnished and affordable off-campus student housing community located in Powelton Village (4030 Baring St). Good Food Flats is the genesis of expansion into University City for Cross Properties, and is designed to impress students with its forefront amenities.

The student residents at Good Food Flats will integrate both learning and living environments through access to many unique features, including a pop-up restaurant/entrepreneur incubator space to a food lab. Well-known Philadelphia chefs will be invited to partake in teaching classes in the facility’s commercial kitchen. Residents interested in sustainable farming practices can take advantage of dedicated urban garden spaces on the roof and backyard of the building to grow their own fruits and vegetables. In addition, amenities like study lounges, a 24-hour fitness center, and WiFi and cable will be included.

Affordably priced at $750 per month, leasing is available for the shareable apartments now. Follow Good Food Flats on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for the latest updates.
