Brunch is the quintessential weekend meal in Philadelphia and there are literally hundreds of options in the city. Usually it’s all about the food, but Philly Soul Brunch at Gunners Run (1001 N. 2nd Street) in the Piazza is looking to shake that up over Labor Day Weekend.
If you’re planning on heading to the Made in America festivities that weekend, this could be your pre-game. Enjoy Southern soul classics and “The Sound of Philly” over omelettes, French toast, and pancakes. DJ IzMatic will be playing the hits from the last 30 years.
Philly Soul Brunch will be three days only — Saturday, Sept. 5, Sunday, Sept. 6, and Monday, Sept 7. They will also have drink specials available. As of now, reservations not necessary. But maybe you should call ahead: (215) 923-4600.
