Disclosure: Crum Creek provided 8 bags of soy bites for this review. We were not financially compensated and all opinions are our own.
Crum Creek (based in Springfield, PA) reached out offering to send us some samples of their soy bites and we graciously accepted. Not sure what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised to find these “mini-breadsticks” were actually quite similar in appearance to pretzel bites with a similar (hard, crunchy) texture. These pretzel-like soy-based snacks come in 4 flavors: Sesame, Onion, Rosemary & Garlic and Everything. Our favorite were the Everything and Sesame varieties.
These snacks are perfect for dipping. While they tasted fine on their own, we dipped them in mustard and melted cheese which improved their taste overall. Crum Creek’s website suggests that you can also use them for dipping in hummus, light cream cheese, peanut butter, jelly or whatever else you like. They would be great with French onion or ranch dip, too.
Great for kids and adults alike, we recommend giving these locally manufactured, non-GMO snacks a try.
Crum Creek is generously offering readers of Philly Grub 50% off the purchase of their healthy mini-breadsticks on http://www.crumcreek.com. Simply use the coupon code “FOODIEFIFTY” at checkout online.
When you try ’em, we’d love to hear from you!
