I have to admit, I haven’t visited the Fairmount neighborhood in about two years. Which is surprising because I lived near 26th & Brown for three years (2002-2005). I guess I just haven’t had a reason to go North… until now. Fare Restaurant (2028 Fairmount Avenue) opened its doors today and one look at their menu has me adding this new Philadelphia restaurant & wine bar on my list.

Fare is an amazing restaurant! The food is great, and most of the menu consists of food you wouldn’t normally eat, but would love if you tried. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is friendly. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone!
