Pure Green Opens in Fishtown Urby This Summer

Pure Green Fishtown is set to open this summer at Fishtown Urby, 1700 N. Front St., bringing a new wellness-focused destination to one of Philadelphia’s most dynamic neighborhoods.

Owned and operated by Fishtown residents Carson Saleumsy and Sean Hasher, Pure Green Fishtown was inspired by a simple idea: to create the kind of healthy, convenient option they wanted as members of the community.

While Pure Green is a nationally recognized wellness franchise, the Fishtown location is independently owned and operated by Saleumsy and Hasher.

“We built Pure Green Fishtown for the way people live here,” said co-owner Carson Saleumsy. “Whether you’re heading to work, finishing a workout, walking the dog, or meeting friends, we wanted to create something that fits naturally into the rhythm of the neighborhood.”

Located under the Market-Frankford Line at Fishtown Urby, the approximately 600-square-foot shop will serve Pure Green’s lineup of handcrafted smoothies, açaí bowls, cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, and other nutrient-dense offerings made with functional, science-backed superfoods.

“We live here, walk these blocks every day, and care deeply about this community,” said co-owner Sean Hasher. “This isn’t just where we’re opening a business. It’s our neighborhood. We’re excited to create a welcoming space that supports healthy lifestyles and becomes part of people’s daily routines.”

Prior to opening, Pure Green Fishtown has already been building connections throughout the neighborhood through local pop-ups, wellness events, fitness partnerships, and community collaborations.

As an LGBTQ+ owned business, the team hopes to create a welcoming environment where residents can gather, recharge, and prioritize their well-being.

Pure Green Fishtown is expected to open in summer 2026. Residents can follow construction progress, community events, and grand opening announcements on Instagram at @puregreenfishtown.
