This cocktail brings a classic ice cream truck treat into a perfect adult beverage for your Fourth of July festivities.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Combine first two ingredients in a rocks glass.
  2. Top with club soda.
  3. Garnish with popsicle
Berry Explosion

Watermelon Sangria (Batch cocktail, serves 10)

Ideal for a BBQ gathering, this fruity sangria blends the flavors of rum and wine with a hint of watermelon and lime.

Ingredients

  • 2 c Don Q Cristal Rum
  • 1 small seedless watermelon, cut into chunks
  • 750-mL bottle Barefoot Pinot Grigio, chilled
  • ½ c fresh lime juice
  • 1 c seltzer water
  • Mini cucumbers, sliced, for garnish
  • 1 small seedless watermelon, cut into wedges, for garnish

Directions

  1. Combine first two ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and pour into a pitcher.
  3. Add next two ingredients to pitcher; stir.
  4. Refrigerate until chilled.
  5. Top with seltzer water.
  6. Serve in cocktail glasses filled with ice.
  7. Garnish with mini cucumber slices and watermelon wedge.
