That’s right, folks. Another hot chicken joint is opening in Philadelphia. C’mon now, you know you haven’t had enough. I haven’t had enough reporting on the hot chicken news!
Baz’s Hot Chicken & Gyro will open Thursday at 4056 Lancaster Avenue, where the Belmont, Mantua, and West Powelton neighborhoods of West Philadelphia meet.
I contacted owner Mohammad Kalam and asked why he was jumping on the hot chicken trend. His answer was simple: “There is a high demand for hot chicken.” I can’t deny him that, as evidenced by all of my Philadelphia hot chicken news!
Baz’s Hot Chicken is his first hot chicken shop in Philadelphia, but he owns two successful Crown Fried Chicken locations in South Jersey.
The grand opening is Thursday, February 1st, and they’ll give away free food from 1 to 4 p.m. So, if you’re a hot chicken fan, check it out!
Baz’s will offer chicken sliders, chicken over rice, gyros, and more. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
Are you excited for more hot chicken in Philadelphia?
If you like what I do, throw me a coffee or a stiff drink!
I’m a *REAL* person and your support means the world to me!
