Gaul & Co. Malt House Hosts Annual Homemade Soup Competition

Gaul & Co. Malt House, the neighborhood gastropub known for good food, booze, and people, and home of the “Wit-or-Witowski” Kielbasa Cheesesteak, invites Philadelphians to bust out the pots and ladles for SOUP-er Bowl 2023, an annual homemade soup competition.

Held at both Gaul & Co. Malt House’s Port Richmond and Rockledge locations on Sunday, February 5 from 12 – 3pm, competitors can win cash prizes and gift cards.

This year, Gaul & Co. Malt Houses’ crowd-pleasing SOUP-er Bowl will exclude any and all seafood-based soups in an effort to spark creativity and level the playing field.

The People’s Choice Best Soup Winner at each restaurant will receive a $250 cash prize, and the Judges’ Choice Best Soup Winners will each walk away with a $100 Gaul & Co. Malt House gift card. Non-contestants can enjoy sipping their way through a sea of soup while enjoying good drinks and company.

Competition signups are live on Gaul & Co.’s website
