Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao to open Nan Xiang Express in University City

Lovers of soup dumplings will find this news very exciting.

Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao, the Shanghainese open kitchen restaurant concept widely known for the best soup dumplings in New York City, will open a fast food version called Nan Xiang Express near the campus of the University of Pennsylvania sometime this year.

Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao (XLB for short) recently expanded to Cherry Hill, NJ, in Towne Place at Garden State Park. Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao has been Michelin-recommended Shanghainese food for nine consecutive years.

Xiao Long Bao, also known as Soup Dumpling, originated in Nan Xiang County in Shanghai, China. Nan Xiang opened its door in the heart of Asian cuisine, Flushing, New York, in 2006 and gained popularity among food lovers in New York City over the past 14 years.

Another Nan Xiang Express will open on Princeton University’s campus this year.
