Sweet Treat Hut Opening in Fashion District

Antwain Bullock is building a delicious health-conscious empire with a chain of cold-pressed juice and smoothie bars throughout the city. He started seven years ago by opening his first Sweet Treat Hut location in West Philly in 2015 and then two other stores in South Philly and at CHOP.

Now, Sweet Treat Hut will be opening its next location in the Fashion District (900 Market Street) in a kiosk on the lower level on Thursday, July 21st.

Earlier this year, he closed the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia location but still operates shops in South Philly and on the Penn Campus in University City.

In addition to organic smoothies and juices, Sweet Treat Hut offers breakfast options such as oatmeal, granola, and acai bowls, as well as lunch fare such as all-vegan chili, wrap sandwiches, and a pasta bowl.

With a name like “sweet treat”, you know there will be sweets. Vegan cupcakes are available as desserts, with hot coffee and tea drinks rounding out the menu.

The first 100 guests at the Fashion District opening will receive a free smoothie.

Antwain, 37, is quite active in the community and often gives back, especially to schools and other organizations. He believes in making a difference, not just in offering healthy food but in contributing positively to society. Sweet Treat Hut adopted a school (Blankenburg Elementary School), and they are helping to build a new schoolyard.

Bullock also posts uplifting messages on social media to help motivate and inspire daily. This young, entrepreneurial man is one to watch in the Philly food scene.

What’s next for Sweet Treat Hut? TWO new locations this year! The first will be at 1717 Arch Street in Center City on September 15th and then at 2605 Germantown Avenue in North Philly on November 15th.
