Square 1682, the modern American restaurant and award-winning bar located on 17th and Sansom Streets, is pleased to announce the highly-anticipated return of Surf N’ Turf Tuesdays, where food-enthusiasts can snag a copious platter of filet mignon, lobster, and accouterments for just $29 – kicking off on Tuesday, July 12.
Beginning on Tuesday, July 12, guests can enjoy a heaping portion of Surf N’ Turf, composed of half lb. lobster, filet mignon, rosemary jus, drawn butter, and crab fries – available every Tuesday during dinner service for just $29/person ($45 for the rest of the week).
This summer re-launch of Surf N’ Turf Tuesdays includes the added perk of half off bottles (or glasses) of house Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon – an ideal accompaniment to the delectable foodie feast.
Additionally, imbibers can now enjoy happy hour Tuesday through Friday from 5 – 7 pm, featuring a line-up of refreshing (and artfully crafted) elixirs, brews, wines, and light bites, helmed by freshly minted Lead Bartender Alex Clark.
“Our team is thrilled to debut a fresh and fun, constantly rotating craft cocktail menu in addition to the anticipated relaunch of Surf N’ Turf Tuesdays,” said Daniel Tyrrell, General Manager of Square 1682. “We’re looking forward to welcoming our guests back in for an evening of Surf N’ Turf, as well as during our new extended happy hour and for late night hangs as the perfect place for a nightcap.”
Rittenhouse imbibers can rejoice in the expansion of weekday happy hour service, complete with elevated fare and beverages. Folks can now partake in happy hour from 5 – 7 pm Tuesday through Friday and select from offerings including $6 wines (Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and sparkling), $5 local beer, and $7 cocktails including Classic Daquiri and bartender’s choice. A menu of light fare is priced at $6 and features the following:
Cornbread served with honey butter
Duck Wings (4pc) prepared with organic honey, sambal, and lime
Curly Fries with truffle butter, Parmesan Reggiano, and black truffle aioli
Cheeseburger prepared with cooper cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and pickles
In other news, Square 1682 has rolled out a seasonally-apt cocktail menu, helmed by newly appointed Lead Bartender Alex Clark. Clark is utilizing his exceptional skill set combined with the use of locally-sourced spirits and ingredients in the all-new offerings, with standout sippers including Stargazer, composed of gin, Aquavit, lavender syrup, lemon, and dandelion bitters, Philadelphia Sour, prepared with Rittenhouse Rye, Amaro, five spice syrup, egg white, lemon, and bitters, The Man in the Yellow Hat, crafted with Monkey Shoulder Scotch, Crème de Banana Liqueur, and black walnut bitters, and Espresso Martini with Ketel One Vodka, La Colombe, and Kahlua.
Current hours of operation at Square 1682 are Tuesday through Thursday from 8 am – 2 pm, 5 pm – 10 pm, Friday from 8 am – 11 pm, Saturday from 3 pm – 11 pm, and brunch service on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am – 2 pm.
