Since its inception, Southern Cross Kitchen (SCK) has always had one mission in mind – to serve authentic, Southern-inspired cuisine in a friendly, welcoming space where comfort is key and a good time is always guaranteed. Now, according to owners Marianne Gere and Kim Strengari, this focus has been renewed thanks to new chefs, a vibrant seasonally-inspired menu, fresh hand-crafted cocktails, and daily specials and happy hour to keep customers coming back for more.

To do so, the duo has enlisted a team of two chefs — David Price and Anthony Lamlin — as well as expert staff, to design and execute one of the restaurant’s most robust menus to date. While remaining true to their signature Southern roots, these new dishes offer a lighter, more inventive flair to the originals.

Taking center stage are the seasonal seafood offerings like the Salmon Of The Day Special, Pan-Fried Catfish, Louisiana Style Seafood Primavera, and Catfish, Shrimp or Oyster Po Boy.

Also, a flavorful addition to the menu is the variety of smokehouse meats like the House Smoked Jumbo Wings and those that are proudly presented during “Smoke House Monday” such as the finger-licking Smoked Pork Belly with Apple Cider BBQ, Smoked House Chicken and more.

To complement the delectable dishes, SCK is also serving up craft cocktails with all-natural ingredients including honey simple syrup, ginger, fresh-squeezed juices, and egg whites, as well as more than 22 IPAs and stouts.

A new happy hour featuring drink deals and half-off all appetizers (including the famous Three-Cheese Mac N’ Cheese and Loaded Short Rib Nachos) was also recently kicked off Monday through Friday from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM in the bar.
