Annual Fireplace Lighting Party at Devil’s Den

Devil's Den FireplaceThe start of December marks the annual lighting of the Devil’s Den iconic wood-burning double-sided fireplace. Saturday, December 1st, Devil’s Den owner, Erin Wallace, will light the fireplace for the season and celebrate with the now-famous annual fireplace lighting party, featuring a curated menu of smoked and wood-aged beers, among other treats.

  • Caskmates Coffee – Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition, Bailey’s Irish Cream, La Colombe Coffee, Fresh Whipped Cream

  • Winter Is Coming – Copper & King Apple Brandy, Agave Maple Syrup, Champagne

  • Hay Ride – Absolut Vanilla, Cinnamon, Hot Apple Cider

  • Ginger in the City – Toasted Caramel Whiskey, Austin Original Cider, Ginger Beer

  • Keep Summer Alive  –Absolut Lime, Muddled Cucumber & Lime, Club Soda

Brunch will be served from 10:30–3pm with hearty dishes like Short Rib Hash topped with scrambled eggs and Eggs Diablo, a cast iron skillet with house-made hot sauce, poached eggs served with a side of home fries and toast.

Chef Paul Trowbridge is preparing some winter specials for the evening that will be sure to warm you up. Dinner Specials will start at 5pm and include Flaming Hot Calamari appetizer and Braised Pork Shank with scalloped potatoes.
