Yard House is located at 160 N Gulph Road in King of Prussia, PA
Great Food, Classic Rock and the world’s largest selection of draft beer! Yard House is now open at the King of Prussia Mall. It is located on the Plaza side of the mall (adjacent to Fox & Hound). This is not your average brewpub.
The Taps at Yard House King of Prussia
With 130 beers on tap, beer lovers are guaranteed to find a beer they enjoy. Order your beer by the pint or by the half yard.
Inside Yard House
Yard House has a lively, fun vibe with a large dining space. With warmer weather on the horizon, the outdoor seating will offer a perfect place to dine and enjoy a beer. Flat screen televisions play sports and music videos. Rock hits from the 60’s to the 90’s fill the air and you may find yourself singing along and rocking out to Aerosmith or Def Leppard (as I did).
The menu offers a wide variety of options. I had the opportunity to sample:
Spinach Cheese Dip
Penne with Chicken
Nashville Hot Chicken
I was impressed with the variety of dishes offered at Yard House. It definitely is not your usual pub grub. All dishes were flavorful and fresh. One of the highlights of the dishes sampled was the Nashville Hot Chicken. A juicy, crispy fried chicken breast with fried sage, sweet potato pancakes, pickles, ranch dressing, and honey hot sauce. The combination of sweet and heat was a palate pleaser.
Belgian Amber Tripel
With 130 beers to choose from, I didn’t know where to begin. I decided to try the house Belgian amber tripel (9.0%) because I like to live on the edge. I am a big fan of Belgian beers and was truly impressed with the flavor & kick of this Yard House brew.
Hawaiian Moscow Mule
My cocktail of choice is usually the Moscow Mule. Normally, you are lucky if a restaurant offers Moscow Mules on their cocktail menu. At Yard House, I was surprised to see THREE flavors of Moscow Mules offered (Traditional, Jameson, and Hawaiian Mule). I decided to go tropical and chose the Hawaiian Mule. Made with New Amsterdam pineapple vodka, ginger beer, and a slice of lime. This perfect blend of flavors had me wishing I was on a tropical island with my feet in the sand.
Yard House offers a Happy Hour Monday- Friday 3:30-6PM and a late night Happy Hour Sunday-Wednesday 10pm to close. Drink and appetizer specials are available at these times. Working in the King of Prussia area, I look forward to enjoying many a happy hour at Yard House.
If you’re looking for a new Happy Hour hang out or place to eat with the family in the King of Prussia area, check out Yard House and tell them Philly Grub sent ya!
