Evil Genius Beer Company Fishtown Before

In October of 2015, Evil Genius Beer Company purchased an old carriage factory from the 1870s at 1727 N Front Street in Fishtown that was in shambles – collapsing ceiling, exposed wires, you name it.

For the last 18 months, they have completely turned the old building around – even managing to salvage wood from the original roof that were turned into booths, benches and tables by Philadelphia Wood Craft Company.

They installed a 15-barrel brewing system from Specific Mechanical System, and have been perfecting their opening tap list since the middle of January. Foobooz has the opening tap list.

The time has come and they will open to the public on Wednesday, March 8th. They’ll have some food, mostly snack items and small sandwiches, and will be inviting food trucks from time to time. They’ll add to the menu as time goes on.
