General Admission Tickets Still Available for Flavors of the Avenue 2016

Flavors of the Avenue, one of Philadelphia’s tastiest events of the year, returns on Sunday April 24th 12:00-4:00 PM.

On Sunday, April 24 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District will host more than two dozen award-winning East Passyunk restaurants at one of South Philadelphia’s largest outdoor food and drink festivals of the year.

A total of 25 East Passyunk Avenue restaurants will be serving up bites of their favorite dishes, plus participating restaurants will also be offering up ‘Flavors’ drink specials all weekend long.

East Passyunk favorites like Will BYOB, Townsend and Palladino’s will join brand new Avenue restaurants like Sate Kampar and the soon-to-open Perla for all-day food and drinking fun – and the tasting menu items include everything from Malaysian street food to classic South Philly Italian meatballs.

VIP is sold out, but general admission tickets are still available. Tickets are $50 each, and include all food tastings and unlimited Sailor Jerry cocktails and Cantina los Caballitos margaritas, Barefoot and Canyon Road red and white wine, and Victory and Troegs craft beer from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

  • Fond: Shrimp Ceviche with Avocado Puree and Tomato Vinaigrette

  • Garage: Grilled Cheese Sandwiches in Bacon Lard
