Introducing Gotta Lotta Gelata. Founded and run by sisters Petra Heiss and Gisela Grammel, the mobile gelateria burst onto the food truck scene only a few months ago, late in the season for frozen desserts, yet distinguished themselves by winning several food truck awards in the Wilmington, Delaware and Greater Philadelphia area.
They’ll be hosting a Kickstarter Launch Party to be held at Bellefonte Brewery at 3605 Old Capital Trail C8, in Wilmington, Delaware, on Sunday, December 10, 2017. Guests will be able to enjoy a Pig Roast from 2pm to 7pm and indulge in dessert afterward. All Gotta Lotta Gelata desserts offered on the truck for FREE! Guest will also be able to vote for the best new gelato dessert.
They are looking to raise $11,000 on Kickstarter for a commercial kitchen for baking cookies, brownies, pastries and other new desserts on the truck and for catered events.
The gelato truck has won accolades and awards including Best Sweets Truck at the King of Prussia Food Truck Craze and Delaware’s Great Pumpkin Food Truck Battle.
