Product Corner: Wicked Joe Coffee

In an effort to increase and diversify content here, I will be writing about products I’ve tried or were sent to me to sample or review. The products may not always be local, but get my stamp of approval in one way, shape, or form.

I recently received samples of Wicked Joe Coffee, a Maine-based, family-owned coffee company offering 100% organic, fair trade, non-GMO coffees. I’m hopelessly addicted to coffee. I drink it every morning just about. I usually have quite a few types of coffee at home to brew in an electric percolator or French press. I love trying new coffee brands and blends. So, I was excited to try Wicked Joe.

Out of the two blends they sent, I tried the Sumatra first. This is a full-bodied medium roast. Definitely more on the bolder side of medium. A little goes a long way. But it was the perfect pick-me-up for a Saturday morning. I’m looking forward to trying the Wicked French soon because I’m a fan of French roast coffees.

If you’re a big coffee fan like me, you’ll want to give these a try. Wicked Joe Coffees can be purchased on their website along with brewing supplies and merchandise.

Samples were provided for review purposes, but all opinions are my own.
