Barry’s Buns Coming to Market at the Fareway in Chestnut Hill

Barry’s Buns, a family-owned bakery operated by Joel and Jen Singer, will open for business at the Market at the Fareway in Chestnut Hill located at 8229 Germantown Avenue on Thursday, May 5, 2016.

Barry’s Buns specializes in gourmet sticky buns, cinnamon buns, and liege waffles. The menu includes an offering of six sticky bun flavors and an additional seasonal flavor. In addition, you can find “made to order” liege waffles loaded with Belgian pearl sugar and crowned with your choice of various toppings at Barry’s Buns.

Barry’s Buns are au natural. All of their tasty baked goods are made with 100% all natural ingredients such as butter, brown sugar, honey cinnamon, and vanilla bean. There are no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives in any products.

Joel Singer is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University with a degree in baking and pastry arts. Singer was the Assistant Pastry Chef at The Rittenhouse Hotel and most recently was the Regional Bakery Associate Coordinator of Whole Foods Market for the Mid-Atlantic Region.
