Almyra, the new modern Greek restaurant & bar from the acclaimed Estia Restaurant Group, opened its doors this past December in the heart of Rittenhouse, transporting guests to the sandy beaches of the Aegean Sea with authentic Greek cuisine in a lively and airy open-concept dining room.
Now, the 7,000 sq ft restaurant and bar named after the Greek Goddess of sea breeze is kicking off the new year with the launch of its first ever happy hour and the addition of weekend DJ sets every Friday and Saturday night.
Starting this week, locals can pull up a seat at Almyra’s majestic 45-seat square marble-top bar or surrounding high-tops Monday through Friday 4-6 pm and enjoy guest-favorite food, cocktails, wine and beer at happy hour pricing.
The new menu features a selection of spreads: Edamame Hummus, Beet, Santorini Fava, Whipped Feta, or Smoked Eggplant – choice of three for $12 or five for $18; plus $10 mezzes such as Crispy Rice, Greco Roll, Almyra Chips, Bifteki, Saganaki and Spanakopita Manti.
Happy hour beverages include a Spritz (Aperol, prosecco, lemon), Spicy Margarita (tequila, chili, lime), and Bartender’s Drink of the Day; each are $9. Select beers are $5 and wines are $9.
