Jamaican Jerkfest at Saint Benjamin’s Tap Room with Chef David Ansill

On Wednesday, July 26 from 5 p.m. until 12 midnight, pioneering craft brewery Saint Benjamin Brewing Company will host Jamaican Jerkfest with guest Chef David Ansill.

For $50 per person, guests will enjoy a tempting Prix Fixe Menu of Jamaican fare, including three courses and a 12-ounce pour of a limited release batch of Export Stout, barrel-aged in Maggie’s Farm La Rve Rum Barrels. Head brewer Andrew Foss will be tapping this special beer at 5:30 p.m. and pouring it straight from the barrel inside Saint Benjamin’s Taproom.

In addition, Saint Benjamin will offer VIP Brewhouse Seating and Brewery Tours throughout the evening. Proprietor Tim Patton will have a full list of brewery favorites on draft, including their Pilsner Prosim, a Czech-style pilsner which recently claimed top honors in the Best Lager Style category at Craig LaBan’s Brewvitational Awards and Franklin’s Abbey Dubbel, a Belgian-style Dubbel which tied for first place in the Best New Beer category at those same Brewvitational Awards.
