Happy #NationalGrilledCheeseDay!

There’s lots of great places to get a really good grilled cheese sandwich in Philadelphia (Meltkraft, The Milk House, Wedge & Fig…just to name a few)

But this Reading Raclette Grilled Cheese at High Street on Market (308 Market Street in Old City) stands out from the crowd.

Chef Joe Nodler tells us about a special soup-and-sandwich combo they’re running today, “The cheese is Reading Raclette from Vermont. It is semi-firm, a great melting cheese. The soup is a Green Garlic soup with lots of herbs and spring onion in there, as well. The sauce is a long hot chermoula (similar to a chimmichurri, with cilantro, parsley, coriander and fennel, plus grilled and pickled long hots). The bakery will make fresh ciabatta rolls for the dish, which is simply finished with fresh herbs.

Just $15 for the combo!

Go try it and let us know your thoughts!
